July 20, 2026 (MLN): The total deposits held by scheduled banks have moved up by 15.07% YoY to Rs37.64 trillion in May 2026 compared to Rs32.72tr in May 2025. According to the numbers based on the weekly Statement for May 29, 2026 by SBP, Banks' deposits have edged lower by -0.62% MoM, compared to Rs37.88tr in April 2026.
