Today the Pakistan bourse observed a marginally positive session. The benchmark index commenced the day on a positive sentiment as the index accumulated 70.74 pts. The intraday trading saw a high of 47,113.42 and a low of 46,879.28 as the index closed at 46,957.47(0.12%). The All share volumes stood at 463mln, depicting investors caution towards trading. We anticipate the volumes to remain lackluster, before any dominant trend emerges. Moreover, the volume leaders for today were SERFR(83mln), WTL(50mln), TELE(38mln), GGL(29mln) and BYCO(27mln). The investors showed interest towards trading refinery sector stocks, on the back of refinery policy. On the other hand, Pakistan FOREX reserve reached record high, largely due to debt financing, and PKR continues to depreciate against greenback.
