Today Pakistan equity remained under pressure as the benchmark index tanked 510.40. The key index saw a bearish momentum throughout the session, where the index saw a high of 47,489pts and a low of 46,874pts. On the economic front, Pakistan trade deficit ballooned up by 133% to 4.055 billion, CPI increased by 8.4% on yearly basis and OPEC sticks to gradual increase in oil output despite US pressure. The all shares volume stood at 544mln( 1% DOD), a marginal increase from yesterday but a significant increase from previous weeks. We anticipate the volumes to remain lackluster before any dominant trend emerges. Pakistan bourse saw a significant retracement during the trading session as the benchmark index closed at 46,903.06pts( -1.08%). The volume leaders for today were GGL(58mln), WTL(53mln), ANL(42mln), SERFR(35mln) and TELE(34mln).
