During today’s session, the KSE-100 index saw a massive upbeat as the index accumulated 512pts(1.08%DOD), closing at 48,112pts. Finance Minister, Shauket Tarin gave a positive outlook of the economy during his address. The benchmark index finally broke its long-term market sideways trends as we anticipate the market to grow bullish in the upcoming sessions. The All shares volumes remained lackluster, standing at 398mln(33%DOD) . We anticipate the volumes to grow, as a dominant market trend emerges. The intraday trading saw a low of 47,599.82, during the start of the session, as the market grew in strength reaching intraday high 48,144.89, towards the end of the session. The volume leaders for today were HUMNL(35mln), BOP(22mln), GGL(20mln), TPLP(16mln) and ANL(15mln). The investors showed interest towards trading technology, cement, commercial bank and chemical sector.
