The Pakistan equity market observed high volatility today. The KSE-100 saw an upbeat in value as the benchmark index closed at 47,873.26, gaining 38.93. The intraday volumes for the day saw a high of 48,006.44 and a low of 47,751.38. Moreover, the investors took new exposure towards the end of the trading session. The KSE all shares volumes for the day stood at 321mn (-8%/DOD). The low volumes for the day depict investors’ caution over the long Eid holiday. The volume leaders for the day included BYCO( 24mn), DNCCR(23mn), SNGP(19mn), ASC (13mn), and TREET (13mn). The investors were more inclined towards trading third-tier stocks.
